Nepal Bank Limited and online shopping portal Daraz Keymu Pvt Ltd have signed an agreement to provide discounts to customers who have accounts in the bank on the occasion of Nepali New Year. This plan will be implemented from Chaitra 28, 2078.
The agreement was signed by Chief Executive Officer Krishna Bahadur Adhikari on behalf of the bank and Aanchal Kunwar, Managing Director on behalf of Daraz. This is the first time that Nepal Bank has partnered with an e-commerce platform to offer discounts to its customers.
Employees working in Nepal Bank and customers with bank accounts can get a maximum discount of 10 percent or up to Rs.1,000 on advance payment through debit card and a maximum discount of 15 percent or up to Rs.1,500 on advance payment through credit card when purchasing goods online through the drawer. The bank said.
To get the discount, customers have to activate e-commerce on their card. For that, customers should contact Nepal Bank branches. The bank has also requested customers to activate e-commerce on their cards and apply for credit cards today.
